HOW TO INSTALL MODS
All mods on this site are Fabric mods for Minecraft 1.21 – 1.21.11. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
STEP 1 — INSTALL FABRIC LOADER
- Download the Fabric installer from the official site: fabricmc.net/use/installer
- Run the installer, choose the game version you play on (e.g.
1.21.11) and click Install. - Open the Minecraft Launcher — you'll see a new profile called fabric-loader-<version>.
STEP 2 — FIND YOUR MODS FOLDER
- Windows: press
Win + R, type%appdata%\.minecraft\mods, hit Enter. - Mac: in Finder press
Cmd + Shift + Gand enter~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods. - Linux:
~/.minecraft/mods
If the mods folder doesn't exist yet, create it.
STEP 3 — DROP THE MODS IN
- Download any mods you want from the mods page. Each
.jarfile goes straight into themodsfolder. No unzipping! - If a download menu shows a yellow "⚠ Requires: ..." line, also grab the matching "+ ..." file right below your version — most mods need Fabric API.
STEP 4 — LAUNCH & JOIN
- Start Minecraft with the fabric-loader profile.
- Join the server:
donutsmp.net - Press
Esc → Mods(Mod Menu) to check everything loaded.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Game crashes on start: remove the last mod you added — it's usually a missing dependency (check the "Requires" line on its card).
- Mod doesn't appear in-game: make sure you're on the Fabric profile, not the vanilla one.
- Version mismatch: on the download button, always pick the MC version that matches your Fabric profile (the card badge shows the supported range).
